Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
The built.
Trying to do a much smaller set than the ones I did before, I put the constraint of having a max of 150 pieces, to be easier to build, for younger kids, and lower the price.
I tried to be as detailed as possible about how the car was, like the gas pump on the back of the seat, the way they lift the car to change the tires, the fire exhaust outside the left side, the air vent in the front fender, and the fact that the tires have one wheel nut. The mechanic has just a couple of tools, which is how it was, actually the tires were put in-out with a hammer, can you imagine that?
The story.
As a tribute to the greatest F1 driver of all time, Juan Manuel Fangio, I made the car he used in his last season, in 1957 with Maserati. This model was called the Maserati 250F.
He is considered the best of all time because no matter which car he used, he won.
He won 5 world championships with different teams.
1951 with Alfa Romeo
1954 with Maserati and Mercedes Benz
1955 with Mercedes Benz
1956 with Ferrari
1957 with Maserati
This has never happened again, in fact, these days the learning curvature of how to drive an F1 car is very long, it can take years, even for experienced drivers, so what Fangio did, more than once, taking a new car and becoming world champion, is an amazing achievement.
As always I hope you liked it and thank you for your support. :)
