Perpetual Calendar

Last Updated . Click "Updates" above to see the latest.

For your consideration, I humbly present a perpetual calendar with pockets (drawers!).

The box base and drawers are ideal for storing extra parts and usual desk accessories (not included). Bricks with grooves and holes not only add decorative texture, but also accommodate included connector pins with studs. Now you can add *your* favourite figures, mosaic canvases, or small builds vertically. Horizontal display space is above each drawer.

The sliding frame outlines the current month and is easily modified for months with less than 31 days. Update the calendar monthly with printed letter tiles and any of the bricks, plates, and tiles built in various combinations to hide unneeded days.

This functional design of around 670 elements uses little desk, shelf or table space with width x depth x height dimensions of just

  • 32 x 11.9 x 13.6 studs
  • 10.1" x 3.7" x 4.3"
  • 25.6 cm x 9.5 cm x 10.9 cm.

Minimalist. Useful. Perhaps even Elegant.

Really, it's just that simple.

The following are suggestions and are not included:

Fill it with flowers, coloured pencils, or some mad money for the next release and give to a sweetheart, artist, or friend. Your special someone will think of you every time they look at the calendar (or at least once a month when sliding the frame).

ULTIMATELY, the design possibilities are endless--just like LEGO and your creativity.
