Shell Cottage

This is my LEGO creation of Shell Cottage, home of Bill and Fleur Weasley (nee Delacour)!

Situated on a beach, Shell Cottage is a cottage made entirely out of...shells!  The cottage is first seen in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1, as this is where Dobby takes Harry Potter and his companions to safety after rescuing them from imprisonment at Malfoy Manor.  Alongside the cottage, there is a small sandy area to represent Dobby's grave.

On the ground floor of the rather small cottage, there is a brown dining table already laid with glasses and croissants for breakfast, as well as a copy of the Daily Prophet.  There is a small cooking area with plates stacked atop a chest of drawers in the right hand side of the room, and on the left, there is a table with a lamp on and two chairs.

On the second floor of the cottage, we have Fleur and Bill's bedroom, with a double bed, a fireplace and two chairs beside the fire.  There is a bedside table with a goblet on it, and a golden chandelier hangs from the roof.  There is a white banister rail for the occupants of the second floor to look down into the dining room below.

As well as the cottage, there is a small sandy area that houses the stone carved for Dobby.  There would be a sticker with the set for the builder to stick on the stone with Dobby's name on.

The figures included with this set are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Bill Weasley, Fleur Weasley and Luna Lovegood.  (The figures pictured are just illustrations of who they would represent.)  It would have been nice to include figures such as Mr Ollivander, Griphook and Dobby, but considering that these characters already exist in LEGO form, I thought that fans would appreciate the Bill and Fleur figures more, as exclusives.  The set contains 431 pieces, and I would estimate this as costing around £40.00 - £50.00, based off the last wave of Harry Potter sets, though of course, I'm not entirely sure how LEGO figure out their costings!

With the upcoming release of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, I thought that LEGO revamping and bringing back the Harry Potter theme would give younger fans who may have missed out on the latest wave of sets, a chance to get into this magical theme.

Thanks so much for viewing my project!  If you like my idea, please support this to help bring back the wonderful Harry Potter theme.  Any comments or improvements you have, I would love to hear.  Thank you!
