Klaus’s Workshop

Klaus is easily one of my favorite Christmas films! The SPA Studios and Netflix did an excellent job creating such an amazing film and changing animation forever! I’ve worked on this idea for about two years and restarted this project several times, just to make sure I represent this incredible film perfectly in LEGO form.

 

The minifigures included in this set are Jesper, Klaus, Alva and Mágru. Jesper wears his signature postman outfit. His accessories are a letter made from a 1x2 Tile and his his postman bag. Klaus wears the coat he’s seen wearing throughout most of the movie. His accessory is an axe, which he uses to chop wood. Alva’s outfit is the clothes she wears while selling fish. Her accessory is a sand green colored fish to reference the fish she is cutting when she first appears in the film. Márgu wears her classic blue and red outfit from the film. I gave her the tall top hat piece to try and replicate her hat from the film. Márgu has an accessory, which is the sled that Klaus and Jesper made for her. This accessory requires building.

This build is a re-creation of Klaus’s workshop. Inside I’ve added iconic items from the film which include, the frog toy that Klaus gave to the little Krum boy in the beginning and one of his bird houses. There is also a furnace, tools, and blueprints. On the outside, I put in two bushes as well as the sleigh from the film.
