As I am building a LEGO wild western town with related trains going around, I needed a coal replenishment station. I found some interesting footage and started building THIS.
We find a Train Depot with working crane to lift the coal into the silo. The silo than will be opened via a hatch to release the coal into the tender.
I have included a repair shop (also for coaches coming by) which is located on the ground floor. This can also be reached via the tall wooden doors in the back, also fitting a small horse trailer.
Via the stair case we will reach the living quarters of the station manager..
It includes a small kitchen with chair and table, a bed and a rocking chair in the attic.
For best playability, the side can be opened to gain full access.
All set to greet & serve the arriving trains!
Overall 885 bricks being used.
