"The Silmarillion": Máhanaxar

38 comments

This project was inspired by one of my favorite books, "The Silmarillion" by J.R.R. Tolkien.

It shows Máhanaxar, the Ring of Doom (also called Rithil-Anamo), the court where the Valar held their councils.
The Ring was outside the golden western gates of the city of Valmar, not far from the hill Ezellohar, with the thrones of the Valar arranged in a circle.
In total there were 7 Lords of Valar and 7 Queens of Valar.
The set contains 8 of them, who are:
-Manwë, King of the Valar, husband of Varda;
-Ulmo, King of the Sea;
-Aulë the Smith, husband of Yavanna;
-Oromë, the Great Rider, husband of Vána;
-Varda, Queen of the Stars, wife of Manwë;
-Yavanna, Giver of Fruits, wife of Aulë;
-Vána, wife of Oromë;
-Nienna, Lady of Mercy.
An eagle, symbol of Manwë, stands over his throne.

In the center of the court, there's an octagonal cloister from which the Elves can speak to them and listen to their councils.

Hope you like it:)
