Working Ski Lift & Winter Resort

This winter ski resort includes a fully functional chairlift that transports minifigures up the side of a mountain before dropping them off to ski back down again in a continuous cycle!

Starting at the base of the mountain, a set of rollers move the minifigures onto a self-guided pick up platform, where they are lifted up into the air as the chairlift passes by and scoops them up into its arms. From here, the skiers travel along a suspended aerial ropeway until they reach the top, where they are automatically ejected out of the chairlift on their way down in between the slalom of flags!

All of this is built into a snowy alpine landscape that acts as a backdrop to the model. After you are done skiing, you can visit the cosy winter chalet and relax in the hot tub, or grab a hot drink in the ski shop downstairs. And if you’re up for another adventure, why not try summiting the nearby mountain, using either the hiking path or by climbing up a giant ice wall!

I think this would make a really unique LEGO set that is fun for all ages, as it would be a great addition to any winter layout and works perfectly as both a dynamic display piece and a functional play set!
