This is a bust of Tron Bonn from the game Mega Man Legends.
My favorite type of build lately has been the figures of my favorite comic book and game characters. Tron is a special character for me. I love Mega Man games for their weird and wacky characters, and Tron showcases that perfectly. This build challenged my 3D building skills. Before Tron, all my characters were flat, so in this build I went even further and made my character as voluminous and detailed as possible. This set has aproximately 1300 pieces.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NOT ALL PARTS IN THIS BUST ARE THE CORRECT COLOR. THIS IS BECAUSE I JUST DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH BRICKS, HOWEVER THE IDEA AND FORM OF THE BUILDING REMAINED UNCHANGED.
Why do I built this model? I wanted to release something unusual, but still related to my favorite character. I liked the black panther bust that Lego released in 2022 and thought that my building would be a great addition.
Why I believe it would make a great LEGO set? The idea of a bust is not new to Lego sets, however it is new to the Lego Ideas website. This creation would be a great display piece as well as good entry for Mega man franchise.
