Look over there! The new Astral Express set concept from Honkai Star Rail is potentially set to pull into LEGO stores and retailers near you. The first anniversary of the 2023 mobile game of the year is finally represented in LEGO form on LEGO Ideas. Please support this set to make it a reality.
I was inspired to make this set after I downloaded the game after it won the 2023 mobile game of the year at the Game Awards 2023. After that, I played it a lot and really enjoyed it. I was most intrigued my the game’s focal point and main icon, the Astral Express. As a lifelong train enthusiast, I was immediately attached and to the game’s biggest icon and eventually I felt the courage to try to make this in LEGO form.
This would make an awesome LEGO set because it would be unique among LEGO’s current lineup: set themes combining fantasy and realistic elements are usually reserved for younger sets (think early 2000s, Ninjago, Chima, Monke Kid, etc). However, having an adult collector set that combines fantasy elements with realistic concepts could make for a really interesting Idea!

- 421 total pieces
- 13.7 inches long! (34.7 cm)
- Also stands at 4 inches or 10.2 cm tall, and 3.8 inches or 9.8 cm wide.
- No printed/stickered display plaque or display rails to put the model on are included in pictures, although this would likely be included with the final product.
