Henshin! Kamen Rider Black appears! Last of the Showa era Kamen Riders, and one of the most popular in the franchise. With a sequel, countless crossover appearances, and even a high quality re-imagining in 2023 it remains popular to this day with it's sequel Kamen Rider Black RX making it to North America in the 90's as Masked Rider. Kamen(which means Masked) Rider is a long running Japanese Tokusatsu (Practical Effects) TV Franchise that have been airing since 1971. Kamen Rider Black is the ninth series in the franchise which is aired in 1987 and ran for 51 episodes.
For any Rider 2 of their most iconic features are their Helmet and Belt driver. Both are recreated here in LEGO form. With the belt as part of the stand for the helmet. I incorporated as many of the small details as I could from the mouth ridges to the side indents. A fun display piece for any fan.
