Around the Moon With NASA’s First Launch of SLS

Last Updated . Click "Updates" above to see the latest.

In celebration of Artemis I mission and the nearly launching SLS, I created this -sort of- microbuild of the mobile launch facility.

This build comes with extra stationary supports so you can also enjoy the launch.
My latest update is a change to the launch tower, so you can actually make the rocket launch without disconnecting it from the tower, and lock it in the 'launched' position.
This all within a total of 385 parts, including a newly designed rocket tip, matching the real emergency thrusters.

About the Mission:

Artemis I is the first in a series of increasingly complex missions that will enable human exploration to the Moon and Mars.
Hopefully in August, SLS will blast off from Launch Complex 39B at NASA’s modernized spaceport at Kennedy Space Center in Florida

I hope you like my build and that I'll have your support!

Thank you!
