This is a model of Pennsylvania Railroad 2-6-2 locomotive that was operated in the ealy 1900s. It was developed for use on the prairies of the American Midwest, earning them the nickname ''prairies''. These locomotives often outlasted their more modern and efficient counterparts in branchline operations, thanks to their relatively light weight, ability to operate effectively in reverse, and capeble speed range.
There are 390 pieces.
Why I built it
I liked my HO scail model train. And desided to build it out of Lego.
Why could this be a good Lego ideas set
My idea could be a great Lego set because the model is displayable and playable since it is motorized and runs on standard Lego train tracks. From my point of view, I find the locomotive very pretty. This model could be an excellent set.
It was fun to design this Lego model train.
