Hogwarts Castle Miniature Model

I redesigned the entrance to the east wing to make the front towers larger, and added the smaller towers behind them. This puts the towers in a more accurate scale, and makes the model more accurate to the films.

I redesigned the great staircase tower so that the section of it right under the roof is more circular.

I redesigned the bell towers so that they have taller roofs, which is more accurate to the movies.Thank you for all the support, I can't believe that this project is already halfway to 1k supporters!

I reworked the middle courtyard so that it is now 4x4 studs rather than 3x3. This puts it in a more accurate scale, and allows the walls around it to connect to the rest of the castle in the proper place.

This project is now number 12 on Popular this week, and number 3 under trending this week. When I created this project I was fairly sure that a few people would like it, but I never thought that it would grow this quick. Thank you some much for supporting, and I hope you stay with me as we get closer to the next milestone. 

I figured out how to make the transparent parts transparent, so here's a second animation with the transparent pieces the way they should be, and some of the colors changed a bit to make them more accurate.

I created a turntable animation of my project in blender. I couldn't figure out how to make the transparent parts transparent in blender, so I might make another animation once I figure that out.

I redesigned the bridge so that it now connects to the courtyard rather than stopping just before it like it did before. In redesigning the bridge I also raised it up by one plate, which allowed me to add a row of 1x1 round studs to it, which simulate the row of smaller arches that are along the top of the bridge. 

I also created a new, smaller design for the boathouse, as before it looked too large in my opinion, like the owlery. This version is a better scale, but I'm not sure if it looks as good as the previous version. Tell me what you think.

I moved the model over to LDD extended which allowed me to make a few changes.

-I made the design of the bridge supports thinner. This is more accurate to the films, but I'm not sure if it looks better on this model. Give me some feedback on which one you prefer.-I changed the design of the owlery so that it is in a more appropriate scale compared to the rest of the model.

-I changed the color of the greenhouses, as in my opinion they looked too bright compared to the rest of the model before. I also made the central tower (the tallest one on the church like part of the castle) shorter, and its roof taller, as that is more accurate to the films.

-I changed the quidditch goals from dark stone grey to light stone grey, as that is more accurate to the films.

-Other small color changes around the model that I wasn't able to do before.
