The model consists of 2 parts (the crab and the ukulele) with a total of 100 pieces. The ukulele means to bring a fun aspect to the model, while the crab build, I feel, is quite interesting so I would love to share.
The moving parts of the crab include: eye, legs and claws. The eyes rotate sideway; 6 side legs move vertically; pair of back legs is slightly distinct from side legs with extra horizontal movement; and the claws are dynamic. Each claw is a combination of several hinge parts which mimic the physical structure of living crab's claw, yet prioritize keeping the build neat. It allows free and smooth movement for the claw, and better create a natural look for the crab.
