The design of my scale LEGO creation is based on a real airliner - Boeing 737-300 series aircraft, the most successful airliner that The Boeing Commercial Aircraft company has produced so far.

After years of redesigning, this is the famous 737-300 series aircraft in Southwest livery, the middle-length hauler from the whole 737 Classic family. This model also represents a tribute to the 737CL Southwest fleet that had already been phased out. In my personal point of view, this is the most beatiful passenger jet ever made.

Main features of the model:

  1. 8-stud wide fuselage, which makes the model middle-sized and manageable
  2. accurate scale model featuring appropriate dimensions and plenty of realistic details
  3. front and aft functional doors
  4. oval CFM 56 turbofans with detailed air inlet and nozzles
  5. fully retractable nose and main landing gear, very stable and durable for manipulation
  6. working fowler flaps and leading edge slats
  7. UHF/VHF various antennas
  8. working exterior and interior lighting - LEGO PF battery box was used (hidden in the fuselage, easily accessible through the front door). This special feature includes all relevant lights; red and green navigation lights, 2x white tail light, 3x white strobe, 2x landing light. 2x ice-inspection light, and anticollision beacons.flashing in sync. Moreover, the passenger cabin is illuminated as well and glows faintly in the dark
