The Quadcopter

Welcome Everbody to my first Quadcopter!

Quadcopter, also called a quadrotor helicopter or quadrotor, is a multirotor helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors. Quadcopters' lift is generated by a set of rotors (vertically oriented propellers).

The design consists of 1 center gear that transforms the manual rotation to 4 main gears and then this rotation is transferred to the 4 small gears of the fans to rotate in high speed. Each Fan consists of 4 blades. Its special Geometrical design made it so smooth, symmetric, stable and light weighted ! 

It has an optional(extra) part which is the Station so that it can be controlled in a Motorized way (ev3 brick or power function),kindly check the Quadcopters' video ( Manual and Motorized control ) 

I adore the Quadrotor idea and was really impressed by its function, that's why I decided to build my own LEGO one which I named it Quadcopter.

I believe that this LEGO design will make an impressive LEGO set because the Quadrotors have captured and fascinated minds of all ages, The set gives you the feeling of owning a real Quadrotor.
