Deserted Mansion

Hello everybody! I’m glad to introduce you my new project on LEGO Ideas, which refers to an old and abandoned mansion (except for a ghost and other creatures).

I have spent a lot of enjoyable hours building this project with LDD, and several more rendering the different views and details. It has been a very pleasant lot of work. The main features are set forth below.

Main features

The mansion has a front garden, a ground floor, a first floor and a towered second floor. The walls are made with clay bricks and coated with plaster. The building’s masonry is greatly shattered and ruined by the aging, making visible many of the bricks under the plaster coating.

Front garden

The front garden is surrounded by a spiked metal fence having a swinging iron gate. On the left side there are several unnerving trees between which are hidden many creatures. The trees have been built one by one, so all they are different. On the right side there is a small pond with a broken fountain. A stone-tiled path leads to the front porch and to the main entrance of the mansion.

Front porch and main entrance

Three broken stone stairs provide access to a tiled front porch and to the main entrance. Six columns support the first floor’s balcony. The main entrance has a white-painted large wooden door still keeping its magnificent look.

Ground floor

The wooden door of the main entrance provides access to the ground floor. All around the ground floor there are several white-painted wooden windows with glass panes.

First floor

The first floor has also several wooden windows with glass panes all around the same. On the front side there is an elegant roofed balcony decorated with some roses and two snakes made of stone.

Second floor

The second floor is a small tower having a flat roof. There are several white-painted wooden windows with glass panes all around the same. The perimeter of the roof is generously decorated.

I hope you like it. Thanks for your support!
