Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox

This is a set that shows Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, on their adventure throughout Minnesota as they create the many lakes and rivers. This is a small depiction of Minnesotan landscape with the two giants walking in and along the St. Croix. I came up with this idea because I have a fondness for folklore, and am a lifelong Minnesotan. This would make a good Lego Ideas set because it gives insight to Minnesotan culture, and shows an interpretation of the beautiful northern woods.

More about the two behemoths:
Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox are, in a way, metaphors for when loggers would take down trees and have them float downstream through rivers in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Although they are meant to explain human impact on the northern woods, they also act as an interpretation for explaining glacial impact on the lands. In the stories, their footprints create the lakes of Minnesota and they were thought to have dug out the great lakes of North America.
