My CUUSOO submission idea is is to create cute little CHIBO builds, Chibi style Lego characters.
(CHIBI + LEGO = CHIBO'S) :)
These have the collect-ability of the mini figure line but with the added bonus of fun builds.
The character possibility is endless. If you have a special request or idea for a character you would like me to make/submit let me know.
This is my ninth set of CHIBO'S. This time featuring a set of 3 characters from DISNEY, Pirates of the Caribbean.
I have many other characters ready to submit but I will be doing these in sets of three. Hopefully, if we can get enough support we could have a whole cast of characters in this style.
I have submitted these in sets of three rather than as just a general "IDEA" because CUUSOO does not encourage or support an idea for an open series of sets so this way people can support their favorites ( Although I hope you can support them all)
Ninth set is-
Captain Hector Barbossa
Captain Jack Sparrow
Davy Jones
These would look great on display or great for play, so hopefully will appeal to both adult collectors as well as kids.
I have packed in as much articulation and details into these little guys as I can to make them super pose-able, fun and interesting to build as well as adding a new backdrop/diorama style, character specific environment display stands. Each stand can be displayed separately or attached together.
More sets to come soon.
Each Character now comes with his own display base / diorama stand for display.
Here we have from left to right-
Barbosa's Base - desk with scroll map, sextant, barrel, inkwell and quill, bottle, candle, crab, 2 lanterns and framed fish.
Jacks Base - Portal window with anchor, shelf, plenty of Jacks favorite beverage, glasses, chests, ropes etc. also has 3 fully pose-able Kraken tentacles you can pose around the stand diorama base however you want.
Davey Jones Base - Pipe organ, stained glass window, chest with heart.
Captain Jack Sparrow
Sparrow has around 457 pieces featuring full articulation of all parts- a ball jointed neck/head, full 360' movement on shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles, fully posable scarf tails as well as rotating wrists, pose-able fingers. I have tried to include every detail I could.
Jack comes with a display base as seen above.
Jack comes with his sword and pistol (both can be attached to his belt) as well as his telescope.
Captain Hector Barbossa.
Barbossa has around 480 pieces featuring full articulation of all parts- a ball jointed neck/head, full 360' movement on shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles as well as rotating wrists, pose-able fingers. I have tried to include every detail I could.
Barbossa comes with a display base as seen above.
Hector comes with his sword (can be attached to his belt) as well as an apple and his pet monkey "Jack" who can sit on his shoulder.
Also has swap-able skeleton hand as seen in the first movie.
Davy Jones.
Jones has around 470 pieces featuring full articulation of all parts- a ball jointed neck/head, full 360' movement on shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles as well as rotating wrists, pose-able fingers and claw. I have tried to include every detail I could such as his claw and crab leg.
Jones comes with a display base as seen above.
Davy comes with his sword (can be attached to his belt) as well as chest where he keeps his heart.(seen in stand pic)
