Modern Architects

The modern movement in architecture is the set of trends that emerged in the first decades of the 20th century, marking a break with the traditional configuration of spaces, compositional forms and aesthetics. Its ideas went beyond the architectural sphere, influencing the world of art and design.

As a student of architecture, I wanted to create small scenarios of some of the most important architects in this movement:

Luis Barragán: he was a Mexican engineer and architect, winner of the Pritzker Prize in 1980.

Le Corbusier: Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, better known from the 1920s onwards as Le Corbusier, was a Swiss architect and architectural theorist, urban planner, painter, sculptor and man of letters who became a naturalised French citizen in 1930.

Charles & Ray Eames: Charles Eames was an American architect, designer and film director. Together with his wife Ray, he is responsible for numerous designs that have become classics of the 20th century.

Zaha Hadid: Zaha Hadid was an Anglo-Iraqi architect from the deconstructivist movement.

Mies Van Der Rohe: Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was a German-American architect and industrial designer. He is considered one of the pioneers of architecture.

I hope you enjoyed it, and share it with your friends and family. Thank you very much.
