The São Paulo Museum of Art (in Portuguese, Museu de Arte de São Paulo, or MASP) is an art museum located on Paulista Avenue in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It is well known for its headquarters, a 1968 concrete and glass structure designed by Lina Bo Bardi, whose main body is supported by two lateral beams over a 74 meters freestanding space, considered a landmark of the city and a main symbol of modern Brazilian architecture.
I am graduate in Architecture but never got to work as an architect. Years later as a LEGO enthusiast, I was able to built this cool replica using Lego Design By Me. The kit took more than 1300 bricks get done.
My "personal" MASP collection features paintings based on Luis Sacilottos' creations instead of the ones actually exposed in the museum (see more info in the links below).
I also created a parallel between the real museum and the LEGO version, see pictures below. I sincerily hope you enjoy it!

The top cover is removable, so you can interact with the inside elements - Sacilotto's paintings collection, elevator (the elevator really works with a lever), the museum guide girl and stairs.
The wooden benches in exposition room were also replicated.
The freestanding below the museum is often used for cultural events and presentations.
