Old Time Photo
Here is a photo shopped picture I made, with the Lego model over the top of an actual picture. I thought it was kind of cool looking and wanted to share :-)
Staff Pick! and back on the "popular this week list"!
Thanks to being the staff pick, my project is back on the "popular this week" list! I couldn't be happier! This project has gone further than I imagined any of my designs would ever be able to reach. I have a couple new sets in the works, and maybe an update or two for this one. Feel free to follow me, to stay in the loop :-) !
Thanks to all my supporters! Please continue to spread the word about the Lego paddle wheel set. I can use all the help I can get in the marketing department... I'm not much of a social media user, nor am I part of any Lego forums. If any one has any suggestions, I'm all ears.
Thanks again!
Popular this Week!!
I'm not exactly sure how a project makes it into this section of the homepage, but I am honored either way :-) Thank you to everyone that has supported my Lego idea so far!!
Interior Pictures - Thank you for the support!
Thank you everyone for pushing my project past 100 supporters so quickly!
Here are a few pictures of what I have completed so far on the interior. The bottom deck includes the boilers up front, a kitchen on one side and two bathroom stalls on the other side. The rear of the ship would be the piston or engine room, which in its current form is inaccessible. A main stair case up front takes you to the next deck which features the cabins. The first cabin is taken up by the smoke stacks, the next four cabins have two bunks each and lastly there are two suite rooms in the rear. Ladders on other side take you up to the enginee'r deck which includes a secondary pilot room, bedroom and a table/chairs. Another set of ladders take you to the forth deck, which is the main pilot house.
I am still working on finishing the inside while keeping it under 3000. What I have run into is, I am having to use multiple pieces where I could have used only one piece due to the color selection in LDD. I may be able to fix this through POV-ray converter but I really don't know the program that well.
I'll keep working on reducing the piece count and will post updates as I go.
Thank you again for all the support!!!
