This is a kind of beetle.
In Japan, they are familiar insects seen on a daily basis, especially in spring and summer.
They are small, about 2 cm in size, and are found on tree trunks and the ground.
Their colors are mostly green and yellow, and the carapace has a metallic sheen.
This one is made from a handful of blocks I had.
I tried to keep the design as compact as possible because if I made it too large, it would diverge from the image of insects.
I think small models that can fit in the palm is good for children to play with.
