American Pickers

"It's a mega-pick for LEGO lovers!"  You've found the honey hole, my friend: the American Pickers in LEGO form.  VOTE to help make it a reality: click "Support" and also "Follow".  

This is my family's favorite show on television.  It features three warmhearted, funny, entrepreneurial history buffs who "travel the back roads of America looking for rusty gold."  This LEGO project aims to recreate Mike, Frank, and Danielle, plus the R2D2 of the show - the van - and a number of the items they frequently pursue (signage, motorcycles, bikes, toys, etc.). I've been a LEGO fan for over 40 years, so what better "junk" for the team to pick than vintage LEGO items?   

If we get 10,000 votes, then LEGO will consider making a real set based on American Pickers.  In addition to voting, where it says "Created by" please click on "Colin23" and then click "Follow".  Leave a comment with any feedback - I will reply.  If you do not have your own LEGO ID, you will need to register one, but don't worry, you won't get any unwanted emails.  Just click "Support" and then click on "GET YOUR OWN LEGO ID".  Please share on social media!  We only have 365 days to get to 10,000 votes.  :-)

More info: 2nd photo: note the vintage LEGO signage and the "wooden" LEGO duck from the 1930's.  4th photo: holding some historical/monetary items.  8th photo: some vintage classic space sets, a doll house, the collectible "Mr. Gold" minifigure, and old signage.  It would be great to bundle the character and van with the Antique Archaeology store as part of the set as well, but that may raise the piece count too high.  How will they fit all that stuff into the van?  Not sure how they do it on the show either, so we won't worry about that here!!
