This is the Holden Dealer Team Torana A9X which competed in the 1978 Hardie Ferodo 1000, the most important date of the motorsport calendar in Australia. This is the race-winning car driven by one of Australia's greatest drivers Peter Brock and Co-Driver Jim Richards. This car with a mighty 5.0 Litre V8 and 308 bhp it destroyed the other cars in the race. this brick version is in 6-wide scale with livery to match this great car.
This set comes with a minifigure of Peter Brock, hair for when he isn't wearing a helmet, a spanner for the mechanics to get this car across the finish line and a removable roof.
I built this car because I am a Holden supporter and this car is one of the greatest to be made and raced by Holden, and it requires an edition in Lego. A great looking set that could have a place anywhere with its classic Australian design.
