A Lovely Night (La La Land)

Hello! This lego set is based on my favorite scene from La La Land, a musical film released in 2016. The film stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, and it has won 6 awards. I built it because it is my favorite movie ever hands down and this scene has one of my favorite songs ever— it’s a genuine passion project for me.

This scene from La La Land is the most popular, and most iconic moment in the entire film— the main poster for the film was based off of this scene— so I figured why not base my La La Land lego set off that scene.

I believe this should be a lego set for many reasons, that being that I tried to get as many details as i possibly could into this set (if you’ll notice the city lights and posts being different sizes and spaced out fairly accurately). I believe it’s very detailed despite its size and piece amount (roughly 300 pieces). Another reason is that La La Land is one of many people’s favorite films, and considering the size and detail put into this set, I believe that many people would enjoy posing Lego Seb and Mia to re-enact their favorite part of the scene (such as the iconic poses, or even the bench tap dance move that Sebastian does), or even just leave it for a display piece.
