This is my concept for a modern Blacktron 1 set. It's partly inspired by the Renegade. At least it's probably more like that ship than any of the other Blacktron 1 sets.
The front ship can disconnect from the main body of the ship to provide support or complete minor missions.
Each of the escape pod/fighters can detach from the main body to get to safety if it is critically damaged. Or they may detach to form a swarm of ships to intimidate opposing space factions and confuse scanning attempts.
I love the old space sets and I love designing new ships with the old themes and all the new LEGO elements that have been introduced since back then.
Blacktron 1 is a favourite of many of us classic space fans so I decided to do another one.
