Are there really more stars in the universe than
grainsof sand on all the beaches in the world?
It is a mathematical problem of cosmic proportions,which could come to mind every time you find yourself on a beach or looking at the sky at night.
''the total number of stars in the universe is greater than all the grains of sand on all beaches on planet earth
the claim comes from the american astronomer and teacher of the universe carl sagan,who made it on his television show ''cosmos'',a massive hit in the 1980s.
But it's true? and is it even possible to calculate it?

There is no exact date to date the invention of sand sculptures (the Egyptians used sand to make scale models of the pyramids they were going to build), but the construction of sand castles for artistic purposes began in the United States early 20th century. The competitions and exhibitions also had their origin there, and in 1990 they spread throughout Europe. Today the most famous sand castle competition takes place in Sydney. The tallest sand castle was built in 2003 in the United States and measures 8.91 meters.
