This Christmas Train is 512 pieces. There is a 0-4-0 steam locomotive, a tender, and a passenger car that comes with this set. Four minifigures are included in this set also: an engineer, a woman, a boy, and a conductor.
The best feature about this set is that it comes with Power Functions. With the type of motor that is included in this set, the steam locomotive will travel at one constant speed. This set will compose of the Power Functions items: #8885, IR Remote Control; #8884, IR Reciever; #88000, Triple-A Battery Box.
Maybe this set should be released without Power Functions, for the people who can't afford things as expensive as this project might be. There should probably be two releases of this set: One that has no Power Functions, and another that includes Power Functions. It's just a thought.
