This is my recently finished 1:43 (6 stud wide) scale model of a Pierce Arrow XT inspired pumper fire engine. I designed it with the primary intention of it being a model, and therefore it lacks most play features in favor of structural integrity and relative accuracy. I feel the larger speed champions wheels and fenders allow for far better proportions than the traditional combination, and really tie everything together. I ran into quite a few limitations at this scale especially at the rear of the apparatus and with the deck gun, but it was a fun (and time-consuming) challenge, and I am very happy with how it turned out.
On a side note, I have a rear mount ladder apparatus in the works that will likely be posted soon.
