Reimagine the classical tales of some of Beatrix Potter’s most iconic characters with LEGO bricks. Build, play and display three iconic tales depicting scenes inspired from some of Potter’s most famous works: Jemima Puddle-Duck (1908), Peter Rabbit (1902) and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle (1905).
Inspiration
Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been a huge fan of Beatrix Potter’s books. The Lake District is a magical location that holds a special place in my heart; it is one of the main influences that inspired me to create Peter Rabbit and Friends.
The world of Peter Rabbit has always fascinated me, Potter’s ingenuity to transform nature into timeless tales certainly knows how to grab my attention. After all, what would make a better combination than LEGO and Beatrix Potter’s work?
Description
- Includes three buildable LEGO characters: Jemima Puddle-Duck, Peter Rabbit and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle
- Jemima Puddle-Duck’s delightful build features Mr. Tod’s summer residence complete with foxgloves, four ducklings, nine eggs, wood-shed, newspaper, cart-road, lantern, display stand with printed tile, enough herbs for stuffing a roast duck and Jemima Puddle-Duck with a shawl and a poke bonnet (947 pieces).
- Peter Rabbit’s regal build features Mr. McGregor’s garden complete with Cumbrian dry stone wall, hedge, sunflowers, raised bed with radishes, cabbage patch, cobblestone path, shovel with perched C. Robin, display stand with printed tile, a gate big enough for a little rabbit to squeeze under and Peter Rabbit with his iconic blue jacket (1107 pieces).
- Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle’s wonderful build features a farm kitchen complete with a plate rack, warm fireplace mantel with decor, flagged floor, table with iron, little scarlet waistcoat belonging to C. Robin, Lucie’s missing pocket-handkins, display stand with printed tile, a pair of Sally Henny-penny’s worn out stockings and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle in attire (925 pieces).
