Welcome to a wild mashup of cyberpunk and western! A bounty hunter and his mech are searching around some pink energy pools for an elusive prospector. But little do they know that the prospector is watching their every move from behind a nearby windmill...
What this model is: It's a sci-fi build featuring a weathered cyberpunk mech and it's evil master, the infamous bounty hunter Rebyc Punk. The story is set on a distant western planet in the future, where minifigures fight for survival under a dystopian energy corporation. Here a lone space prospector has rediscovered an ancient pool of valuable pink energy pools on his father's claim. However, Rebyc Punk has caught wind of the prospector's plans and wants to turn him in to the energy corporation (for a price, of course).
Why I built it: This build was originally designed for a recent LEGO Ideas contest. I had recently learned about the cyberpunk genre, and really wanted to try combining it the western genre as an experiment. I'm happy to say that in the end, had a lot of fun experimenting with the aesthetics! There are several little details I enjoy, but I think my personal favorite has to be the weathered mechanical detailing on the mech legs.
Why this would make a great LEGO set: It's a small, affordable, and very unique sci-fi build that would make a great display piece!
