Wrigley Field

Since opening in 1914, Wrigley Field has grown into one of the most beloved and historic sporting venues in the World. Home of the Chicago Cubs, Wrigley Field is the second oldest Major League Baseball stadium.

As a lifelong fan of the Cubs, I have always wanted to see a Wrigley Field Lego set. Ever since I saw the recent soccer stadium sets, I've been trying to imagine what a Lego baseball stadium could look like. There hasn't been one yet, and I think Wrigley Field is perfect for a Lego set! It is a beautifully unique stadium that any fan of Lego could enjoy.

It was an exciting challenge to recreate Wrigley Field in Lego! Being one of the oldest stadiums, Wrigley Field has evolved over the years. My idea for a Wrigley Field Lego set is based mostly on how it stands today. It was important to me that I get the shape of the field and stadium just right so it would look lifelike from every angle. I also included special details for the marquee and scoreboard. The clock displays 1:20, an iconic time for fans of Wrigley day games.

One detail I left out was the rooftop seating beyond the outfield. However, I used technic bricks in the pedestal so that builders can easily make their own addition!
