Hello, thanks for checking out my creation! This is my take on a "Modern Movie Theater Modular" and my take on revitalizing a proper successor to the classic modular movie theater that came out over a decade ago. I wanted to modernize and create a structure that looks a kin to something we all are used to seeing. IMAX big screen, comfy seating, a high occupancy secondary screen, popcorn and concessions area. I even included an employees only projector reel room. A proper ticket booth that curves into the opening lobby front doors. Take the stairs up and enter 1 of 2 screening rooms, one featuring elevated seating and comfortable chairs. If you need to use the restroom there are 2 located on the lobby main floor. Emergency exit is also located next to the facilities and enters the back alley way, look out for the rats! This entire modular creation of mine is an homage to the ArcLight cinema's, a once popular movie theater that closed near me a few years ago.
Features:
- Modular walls, side panels, roof and seating platforms
- Sits on your standard 32x32 baseplate
- Easter eggs to the classic old theater modular
- 2,480 Pieces
- MILS compatibly
This set deserves a spot on any collector/builder or fan of LEGO. A movie theater is iconic and this addition would please any city table top builders as well as collectors displaying their LEGO sets on shelves. I also think experienced builders will appreciate the subtle but intricate building techniques scattered throughout the build. Thank you for taking a look at my Modern Movie Theater Modular!
