This is the classic NYC Taxi, recreated as a large scale Lego set!
Built to the same scale as other Creator Expert sets and made using existing pieces, this model could easily fit into the current line up of classic cars that Lego produces today.
The actual model is based on the Checker Marathon, which is instantly recognisable as the classic taxi of New York!
It features rolling wheels, 4 opening doors, opening hood and trunk, a few custom stickers are used but the checkered stripe is made from black and white pieces.
The model is around 1100 pieces and based on my old classic taxi project, but with a few modifications to make it more sturdy and complete.
