A hand car is a car that runs on rail tracks. It is powered by its passenger or passengers. Normally, it consists of an arm, called the walking beam, that pivots, seesaw-like, on a base, which the passengers alternately push down and pull up to move the car.
This is a hundred years of invention but is still being used.
I believe the simple mechanism in this build is interesting for many, especially kids, to learn something about mechanics and physics. Fortunately, LEGO allows us to build one on our own.
