WALL-E OFFICIAL
Lego has announced that an official Wall-E set will be produced later this year. This set is based on Lego Ideas submission #11 by Angus MacLane. MacLane is a Pixar animator and director who worked on the WALL-E movie. He made his model during the time WALL-E was in production and submitted it to LEGO Ideas in hopes of it becoming a set. By the time I had started working on my Wall-E, his was already well on it's way to having the necessary 10,000 supporters. I was aware of Mr. MacLane's submission but I had worked too long and hard not to finish and submit my set to Lego Ideas. I even suggested to the Lego Ideas staff members that they could use any parts or elements of my design. All I wanted was to see an official Lego Wall-E set and now that dream will come true. Congratulations to Mr. MacLane! I look forward sir to buying and building your set.
