Hi everyone!
Being a big fan of LEGO, I'm happy to present
my very first digital creation. With this model, I'm trying to capture a to my
mind fast and cool looking sports car. Although I may be inspired by vehicles I
like, this one isn't supposed to represent any existing car.
What I like most about this build is its sleek
and solid design. Also pretty nice to me are tiny details, such as:
- steering wheel
- back cushions
- side mirrors
- exhaust pipes
- headlights and tail lights (incl. turn signals)
Because of the minifig scale, putting together
the car body was kind of tricky and required some interesting connections. The
most challenging part, however, was attaching the plates to the bottom of the
car. This took quite a while but pays off by adding to the “studless” look I
think.
The model consists of 262 bricks in 8 different
colors and fits 1 minifig. I started this project at the beginning of the year
but can’t really tell how much time I spent building in total. Anyway, it was a
lot of fun, thanks for reading and I’m looking forward to receiving your
thoughts on this MOC.
