Hello! Thank you for checking out my idea. I am glad to share the first lego model I have made and posted on lego ideas.
About the model
The rocket is made to be as close to the real Falcon 9. Grid fins and the landing legs can be folded and the rocket can stand on its own legs or engines. The satellite fits inside the fairings, and you can change out the fairings with the Crew Dragon. OCISLY is big enough to have the booster with the landing legs deployed. All the models together, add up to right under 1000 pieces.
Background
I have been inspired by SpaceX and I would like for the younger generation to get excited about the future, and inspire them to follow their dreams.
It's been too long since astronauts have launched from American soil. And even longer since we landed on the moon.
What it can be used for
It is meant to be played with. You can simulate a launch from takeoff - landing on the drone ship - deploying the fairing and deploying the payload.
Or it can be displayed on the stands.
