The Indianapolis 500 is one of the World's greatest races.  It's celebrated world wide and referred to as The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.  The inaugural race took place in 1911.  It's billed as the world's largest single day sporting event with crowds estimated at 250,000.  2016 marks the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.  There is no better way to commemorate this historical milestone than the winning car crossing the yard of bricks.  All in glorious Lego form.

The set consists of 125 pieces and would include one mini-figure.  It's built on a 16x16 plate. I used two different colors to represent the yard of bricks.  For the catch fence I used an 8x16 net.  The car is attached to the base with a 1x4 plate but can be easily removed for playability.  The set packs a lot of detail in a small set.  With the piece count less than 200 I believe it will make it affordable for both Lego fans and race fans alike.  I've brought my two favorite hobbies together.  Thanks for looking and please support my idea.  I would really appreciate it.

Also a big thank you to my wife for still allowing me to play with Lego.
