School bus

This project is inspired by my one-year-old son's fascination with the classic yellow school bus (which he affectionately calls "fuh-buh") and his love of LEGO. The bus has several working features, including a moveable stop sign, an opening door, and a removable top to allow access to the interior. Inside are seats for five children and one driver, a steering wheel, a lever for opening the door, and a clock to make sure the children arrive to school on time. As a LEGO product, the bus would include a driver and at least two children with backpacks. I built the model in LEGO Digital Designer. For more pictures go to: www.mocpages.com/moc.php/321763.

The bus features a moveable stop sign to allow children to board safely.

The door of the bus opens. The interior is adorned with a steering wheel, a lever to open the door, and a clock to ensure that the children arrive to school on time.

The top of the bus is removable to allow access to the interior, which includes a seat for the driver and seats for five children. There is room to stow backpacks on the floor in front of each passenger seat.

Here is a rear view of the bus as it heads off to school.
