Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
How many minifigure avatars can be built within the range of 4x4studs?
I came up with this idea when I was building the (minifigure) Face Change, so I started experimenting. I accidentally didn't brake the car, and soon I had a hundred characters (covering my face).
Because it is the theme of the avatar, the basic shape is still relatively fixed, and the stacking method of high relief can bring more three-dimensional depth of field fun than the general flat picture.
Each avatar uses about 20-30 blocks (about 20 pieces for a single frame base), so to complete 100 single pieces, the amount of materials is still very staggering.
A single framed avatar with magnetic blocks can be used as a refrigerator sticker, if you are a rich man, the frame size of the 100 avatar collection is 51.2x 51.2cm (64x64studs), well... It is estimated that the hanging on the wall is quite heavy.
Because the creative space is small (counting the 6x6 space of the avatar base frame), there are basically no special pieces, and the colors are also restrained to choose the basic colors commonly used by Lego, so it belongs to various freehand expressions. However, I think that the fun of Lego is different from realistic model figures, but uses limited resources to expand endless possibilities, many characters can be understood by the viewer at a glance, and it is interesting to add imaginative works (Dragon Tooth Laughter).
I want to make it clear: icons are limited, there are unlimited ways to build them, and you can change various combinations based on them, so that you can have more fun on your own
There are no deep techniques and no grand themes. The spirit of Lego should be inclusive, every LEGO fan should love this building block with confidence, enjoy the selflessness when building the world, the simpler and more infinite, the simpler the happier ...
