Steel Jeeg

Hi, I’m very happy to present to you my first project: Steel Jeeg also known as Kotetsu Jeeg or Koutetsu Jeeg.
It is a Japanese robot from the 70's TV show, created by Go Nagai.
The main character is Hiroshi Shiba, a boy who discovered himself to be a cyborg. Joining hands and wearing a medallion, Hiroshi is able to transform himself into the head of the robot.
All the other parts of Jeeg's body, which are magnets, come to him and the robot is complete.
My Jeeg is fully articulated and posable. He is 30 cm tall even if it is the smallest Go Nagai robot.
I tried to make the joints as magnets. Every part of Jeeg is removable as in the TV show.
I also realized the two iconic gadgets of Jeeg: bazooka and drills. As with all parts of the robot It’s possible to switch the arm with the bazooka or with the drills. Attaching the drills behind the Jeeg’s back, the robot is in the fly mode.
I decided to build Steel Jeeg because among the Go Nagai’s robots - Goldrake, Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger and Getter Robot - Jeeg is my favorite one. I hope you will enjoy it!
