This a model of a SpaceX Falcon 9R reusable rocket. The Falcon 9 family of rocketry has revolutionized access to space by dramatically pushing the limits of space travel. This model depicts the vehicle in a landing configuration with landing legs extended and steering grid fins folded out.  Also depicted is the "Octaweb" engine configuration sporting nine Merlin 1D engines. The total parts count is 5017. The model is constructed using an iterative modular technique. The scale is approximately 4.3 studs per meter.
