This build is based of of the Northern Class 4449 "Daylight" streamlined locomotive that is repainted for the American Freedom Train. I kinda just wanted to build it for fun, but realized that it would be a cool addition to the line of Lego trains. It has a part count of 1270 pieces exactly. I designed the locomotive to accommodate the powered gearbox and power unit with the sensor that the "Emerald Night" set can use. There is an opening at the cab and forward section of the tender for the power box, gearbox, and sensor to be installed. It is scaled to the relative size that the other trains are scaled to. There isn't an interior due to the powered units that need to be put in.
