House of Chess

Welcome to the House of Chess! A house with an unusual chessboard on top!
The rules are the same as on regular chessboards, but the different levels gives it an extra dimension, and makes the game a little more tricky for the players. Your chess pieces can literally climb up or down on their way. The kings and queens are placed at the very top of the board, where they have a good overview of the battlefield. The doors of the house are guarded by two minifigure knights to keep things in order. This alternative design of the chessboard combined with a house makes it a fun display and conversation piece.
The LEGO chess pieces are built in a way to resemble the classic known chess pieces. I have used minifigure heads with details for the kings and queens to give them more character and make it easier to tell them apart.
Chess is one of the oldest board games, and it dates back to the 6th century. Today chess has a community of about 600 million who play chess regularly.
I hope you like my idea of a chessboard combined with a house.
