Schröder House, built in 1924 in Utrecht, is one of the most representative work designed by Gerrit Rietveld, one of the principal members of the Dutch artistic movement called De Stijl. Rietveld is famous for his Red and Blue Chair and for this Schröder House, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Thd idea of the house is generated from the famous work of Piet Mondrian. The compact, geometric, prismatic shape with 3 primary colours red, blue, yellow of this house is too fascinating and attractive to believe that it was built 100 years ago. Also it is very suitable for the lego brick construction.
The entire LEGO model building is exactly the same proportion with the original structure, and all the interiors, decorated with distinctive De Stijl characteristics.
