This truck combines three of the best things LEGO have ever done. It's a fire truck, obviously, and everybody likes those. It's in a similar style to LEGO's classic Model Team sets -with superrealistic looks and with functionality- and it includes 9V Light & Sound, with working flashing lights and a siren.
I don't expect LEGO to bring back the old elements they used for this back in the 'eighties, but adding a sound brick and lights that flash to LEGO's brilliant Power Functions system ought to be possible.

LEGO has done a fair few fire engines over the years, but never a highly detailed one in this style. The truck has a working ladder that can be extended.
My Model is a Mercedes Econic based on trucks used by the London Fire Brigade, but a generic cab would work just as well.
