Valentine's Day Rose Music Box

This is a Valentine's Day gift box wrapped in a beautiful roses, and with the music, it looks like a flower blooming in the music.

At first, I just wanted to design a gift box that would open with beautiful flowers, and which would be suitable for Valentine's Day. However, when the work is not yet finished, I suddenly had the other  idea about how to let the flowers bloom from the buds. Therefore, in this gift box I added a small drive device by rotating the gears to drive the roses to bloom.

And then I thought, in order to make the gift box more in line with the Valentine's Day festivities, so I designed the appearance of the pink colour, so as to highlight the people in love always emit pink bubbles! During the production process, I thought about making the work more unique and surprising, and also easy to carry, the way how to open the gift box will be a challenge. So I added a lock and a switch button, as long as I pressed the love button on the lid, four sides of the gift box would automatically unfold. Finally, with the music playing and with turning the joystick to drive the gears to rotate, the scene likes as flowers blooming in the music, it will be a beautiful and unique music box.

Since I started playing Lego, I always have a lot of creative ideas in my mind, and in order to prove that my concept is feasible, I work hard to implement my idea. I believe that people who are creating must have the same feeling as I do, that is what’s a great sense of accomplishment to be able to put your ideas into practice and share them with everyone.

I have shared my work with my family and they were so amazed when they saw it, so I wanted to contribute to this LEGO set that I could give my own work to someone I like, and that why I chose Valentine's Day as the theme of my creation.
