Around the Globe

Create a sphere with Lego bricks is not an easy thing.

I tried for a long time to make a globe but most spheres made with Lego bricks require a very large amount of parts or do not have a nice shape.

It's inspired by a soccer ball that I finally managed to create a sphere that suits me.

Sebastien Esnault's Lego Sphere differentiate itself from the other Lego Spheres by :

- an almost perfect shape

- a large size

- studs on all its surface

- the use of relatively few parts

After some slight modifications, I drew the different continents using plates with different shapes and colors.

The globe is positioned on a tripod for easy manipulation and placement.

I also added a minifig with some accessories to create scenes about travel.
